About us

In 2016, Agape Foundation was initiated by providing free surgery to 06 patients who developed cataracts. By the year 2018, with the help of local donors, we were able to help about 1400 patients with their surgery.

The Agape Foundation was established as a non-governmental organization in 2018, which has helped to spread this voluntary service more widely across the island.

Currently, this organization conducts free medical camps through which the patients are provided free medical check-up and medicines. At the same time a complete eye examination will be conducted and spectacles that are customized according to a standard prescription will be provided as well. In addition, the complete surgery is performed free of charge for cataract.

patients.
Also, wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids, etc. are donated to low-income earners who are differently-abled. Accordingly, our aim is to do at least a minute service to improve the health status of low income people.

Current projects

As our latest project, we have made arrangements to start providing spectacles to low-income school children after a complete eye examination.

Apart from this, it is also intended to start a housing project for the low-income people and a project to provide agricultural equipment and seeds to the farmers.

Our aim is to extend the hands of love to our own brothers and sisters who require

help and shelter to live in our country.
